Busy Saturday

Well hello!  I know it's been a while since we posted.  We were in Nebraska visiting Melissa's Grandma who turns 97 this year.  I hope to have those pictures up soon.  In the meantime, Nathan and I headed to downtown Raleigh for an indoor car show.
Nathan loves car shows and since it is August, I was more than willing to spend the 10 bucks to get inside and out of the sun.
Kinda looks like some beat-up Transformer doesn't it?
This guy was Nathan's favorite.
A rat wearing a gas mask....how awesome it that?
There were a few cars outside.  We took this picture for Grandpa Rex.  It is in front of a 1969 Ford Mach1 Mustang, similar to one Grandpa used to own.  Why he got rid of it I'll never know :-)

After the car show we headed to Marbles because if you had a kid going into Kindergarten you got in free.  They had stations set up to help the kids get ready for school.
Practicing for the trauma that can accompany the cafeteria.
Learning how to pay.
We even got to ride in a bus around the block.
After we hit our educational limit for the day, it was time to rest then play!
