Mountains

On the way back from Ohio we decided to stay a few days in the mountains of North Carolina.  We always seem to go the beach but never the mountains.  

Somewhere is nowhere'sville Kentucky.

We got a decent deal on a hotel.  I think it was a timeshare thing but since it was the off-season they had rooms available.  

The place had paddleboats...which we did within the first five minutes.  

And holy crap....teatherball!!!

Nathan actually let me take a lot of pictures of him...so I took advantage of it.  Evidently 7 is the age of camera rebellion.

Oh ya, the place also had a put put course...they were more excited about that than the mountains.  It had a pool too...not pictured.  

We also did a cavern tour...kinda tough to take pictures in the dark.  We didn't do Grandfather Mountain because half of it was closed due to wind.  That will be a day trip for later.
