I know, I know....at this point you are saying that doesn't look like Nathan...what the heck is going on here? Am I in bazzoro world?? No, you landed on the right web site. I figure how many pictures of Nathan can I post before it gets redundant. With that said, I figured that we should pay our respects to a coaching legend. NC State Women's basketball coach Kay Yow passed away this past week. She lost her over 20 year battle with cancer. Now if you know me, and judging by the fact that your are on this blog you do, you know that my love for women's basketball rates right up there with love for soccer, synchronized swimming, diving, and regular season baseball. With that in mind, anyone who met Kay Yow and didn't have a deep respect and admiration for her....well, they just don't have a heart. I've covered a few of her games, been at some pressers, interviewed here when she published her book, and she was definitely a class-act. North Carolina lost a true-treasure.
NC State held on tribute service on Wednesday night. Of course the station (meaning me and reporter Steve Sbraccia) we went and covered it. This is the story that we put together. Enjoy.P.S. I promise the next post will be about Nathan.
