Merkle Wedding

The most recent trip to Ohio revolved around the marriage of our friend Tom to Aubrey. I had been a room-mate of Tom's off and on for 6 years. Melissa also had the pleasure of living with both of us for 2 years while we all lived in Toledo.
The wedding and the reception both went great. You know you are in Ohio when 3 of the 4 speeches at the reception all mention the Ohio State/ Michigan game. It seems that Aubrey was once a Michigan fan. Tom found this out 3 weeks before the big game and considered ending the relationship at that time. He waited and once game day rolled around Aubrey was wearing Ohio State gear. He asked her while she changed teams...she said she wanted to be on 'his team.' She asked him if he had been doing anything to change her mind....he had...he had been praying that she would switch teams. A marriage based on that story cannot fail. GO BUCKS!!!!
