With me being on furlough (fancy corporate term for forced unpaid leave) this past Monday and Tuesday, we decided to make the trek up to D.C. and see Melissa's family. On Monday we went to the Newseum...a must for anyone interested in the news...(sound familiar)It was a very nice museum. $20 to get in the door though...seemed a little steep to me. Then we made the fatal decsion. Let's eat at the museum. Two chicken fingers, order of fries, and one coke...........drum-roll please..........$23. Were these chicken fingers laced with gold???? Were the fries coated in chocolate???? Did the Coke have actual coke in it???? Nope. Edward R. Murrow is rolling over in his grave.
