Kindergarten

That picture was from Nathan's first day of preschool in September, 2012.  Times have changed. 

This was this morning.  The day that Nathan started kindergaten. 

This meant getting up way before we usually do.  We only get up that early when we have to catch flights. 

Nathan gave his old lunch bag to Kristen since he got a new one. She loves that thing.  It's a Cars one so we will see how long she likes it. 

The bus ride to school would have been an hour and he would have been picked up at 6:45am.  Since I didn't even plan on being up that early, we are going to take him in the morning and he can ride the bus home. 

At school, lunch box and back pack ready, time to go inside!

He gets dropped off from the bus a little ways down the road....don't ask...we're working on it.  Anyways, this was his ride home.  Our school does a staggered start for kindergarten.  That means he went on Wednesday with 4 other kids in his class, will have Thursday off, and then the whole class goes on Friday.  He said he had a good day, made a friend, though he can't remember his name.  He says he wants to go back...we'll see how long that last.  Kristen starts preschool next Wednesday!!!
