We decided that it was time to start Nathan on "solid foods" And by "solids foods" I mean this yummy rice/milk mixture. Things went really well. He had no problem opening his mouth. We are still working on that pesky swallowing thing. Baby steps though. We are pleased.
Thank-you Grandpa and Grandma Replogle for the high chair. It worked out great.

Stick with it. I thought the feeding thing would be easy until we tried it with Austin. He had this amazing ability to move his yummy rice mixture from the bowl, to the spoon, to his mouth, to his bib in a matter of seconds. The swallowing thing gets better.
When it was time to try real food with Grace, we went to the station and borrowed a camera. So, now we have this moment stuck on DVC Pro forever... smart!
We mixed the rice with too much milk, so it was like trying to spoon milk into her mouth. Ah, the memories!
